Mountain View Realty Group Joins Hands with PB&J for the Homeless to Make a Difference
Edgewood, Washington – November 7, 2023
In a heartwarming endeavor to give back to the community, Mountain View Realty Group is delighted to announce its partnership with the local non-profit organization PB&J for the Homeless. Together, they have embarked on a mission to make a significant impact in the lives of the homeless in the Tacoma area.
Every Monday evening, from 6 to 7 p.m., at their Edgewood office located at 1315 Meridian Ave E, a dedicated team from Mountain View Realty Group and PB&J for the Homeless come together to create a beacon of hope for those less fortunate. They’ve made it a weekly tradition to craft sandwiches with love, compassion, and dedication, ultimately exceeding an astonishing 500 sandwiches each week.
In an extraordinary effort, this week’s production reached an unprecedented milestone, with the team producing over 810 sandwiches. The sandwiches, carefully prepared with ingredients including creamy peanut butter, seedless jelly, and bread, are all destined for the Tacoma Rescue Mission, where they provide sustenance and comfort to the homeless.
Mountain View Realty Group and PB&J for the Homeless extend a warm invitation to the community to join hands in this noble cause. Supplies are needed to ensure the initiative’s success, including sandwich bags with zippers, gloves, disposable tablecloths, and, of course, the essential ingredients. Each loaf of bread donated can provide for ten sandwiches, making even the smallest contributions impactful.
Additionally, volunteers willing to make a difference in the lives of those in need are welcomed with open arms. Your time and effort are invaluable and greatly appreciated.
Donations can be arranged by appointment through Cheryl at 321-704-0348. For those who wish to roll up their sleeves and volunteer, just come to the Edgewood office at the specified time. Every pair of helping hands, every contribution, and every act of kindness counts.
